Happy week of Thanksgiving America!
I am really and truly going to miss thanksgiving! But Marie
is taking us and the elders out so it should be an epic night regardless! Also,
its Oys birthday so, tell her happy birthday!
Last week was good! We helped Sister Niel move house and I
helped Marie get started on her family history while sister Oliphant helped
Sister Duncanson with some primary stuff. The primary program was on Sunday and
it was brilliant! So cute. There is a video on youtube you should all go watch
with all the kids in it! Well there are 2 actually, cuz a few weeks ago Glasgow
stake had a film festival and our ward put in 2 awesome videos! One of them has
the youth in the ward talking about what they want to be when they grow up (and
my bag is in it at the end haha) and Victoria is in it, she wants to be a
makeup artist. The second one, with the kids, is a remake of Uchtdorfs mormon
message about patience and the kids with the marshmallows! You should go watch
them! Go to youtube and type in Motherwell ward. and they should be like the
first 2 videos to come up! Enjoy :)
Sunday was also good because Jane came to church! Jane is
way cool but less active. She used to be a pro cyclist and she met the
missionaries a while ago when she was cycling from Edinburgh to London! We have
been meeting with her lately and she said she enjoyed church and is going to
come next week as well! Good stuff.
Last week for pday we played laser tag (or laser teg as
elder Neu would say.. Canadians..) with our district.. and sister Ricks
and I got matching Glasgow shirts. Sister Oliphant blew us all out of the water
in laser tag! She would come around the corner all sneaky like and just kill us
all! We played twice.. I did alright. let’s just say, laser tag is not my
strongest thing.
I hope everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving!
Love, Sister Hulet
