Week 54 | Aberdeen, Scotland

This is an old church that is now a night club, "SOUL"!
In the middle of the city..

Bridge of Dee, right by our flat

Easter was really good here! We went over to the Brewsters, (a family from Alaska) for dinner, and we had SWEET PORK SALADS! oh man I was like jumping out of my seat to eat those! They were soo good! They had all 6 missionaries over, and we just sat outside and talked and ate because the sun was kind of out for a bit, so it wasn’t too cold.

So in Scotland they have this tradition for Easter, it is called the rolling of the eggs. And basically all they do, is go to a grassy hill and roll their eggs (most of them are painted) from the top of the hill to the bottom. It symbolized the stone being rolled away from the tomb, which is kind of cool. People have asked if we are going to do it and we just would look at each other and be like "um maybe?" ha it just seems a wee bit underwhelming to me.

Mary was baptized on Saturday!! I am still waiting for the pictures of it, I will send them on to yous to see, but I hear it was amazing! I am just so happy for her! She really is such a great person!

Anyway, I hope you all had a fantastic Easter! And have a good week next week!

Love, Sister Hulet
