Spring in
Scotland!

HELLO!
General Conference was
soo good! We get to watch all the sessions at the church. Well we don’t get to
watch the last one because it’s too late for us missionaries, but I watched
both of the morning ones live then the Saturday night one was
rebroadcasted on Sunday morning.
So on Sunday morning
a miracle happened! We were a bit late to the 1:00 session because
we were with a less active member. So we showed up and the members and the
elders come up to us talking about this girl called Jessica. So they introduce
us to her and she is 15 years old and came to church on her own. She had
been reading about our church and ordered the book of Mormon and has been
reading it. She has watched videos, read blogs, and listened to
podcasts all from members of the church! She told the elders she wants to
be baptized!! Sister Crawley and I were like... what? Things like this
never happen! So it was a great day after that! Jessica sat by me in the
session of conference and we talked throughout it, she asked me questions about
the temple and I would start to explain something and she would be like,
"oh yeah I read about that.." and I was just blown away! She is
amazing! We are meeting her again on Tuesday!
Sister Crawley and I are only
going to be in our area for 2 days this week, then she heads off to be in
the choir and I am heading to Montrose again for the week! I will get back on
Sunday, just in time for moves call! This transfer has gone to who knows where!
General Conference is
amazing! I am so grateful we get to listen to it and learn from it! I honestly
love everything about it!
