Week 51 | Aberdeen, Scotland

A cafe we teach in sometimes

We have been meeting with this guy called Allan for the last couple of weeks. He is pretty funny. He is an Elvis impersonator. He sings for us every time we go over! He also talks sooo much! We can hardly get a word in, and whenever we bring a new member with us, who he has never met, we get to hear his life story over again. Haha he makes me laugh. I recorded him singing some Elvis the other night so you can all watch that someday in the future :)

We had a pretty good lesson with Roger on Friday night, and then the member that came with us, Mary, invited him over to her house on Sunday for dinner and to watch the Joseph Smith movie! She is so great, Sister Crawley and I were pumped cuz usually we have to like force members to invite investigators over and she was just like, "yeah roger you should come over to ours on Sunday for some food, and a lesson with the sisters!" oh man it was a good Sunday! We are just starting back over with Roger and really getting things right cuz he just has so many questions about the non-important things so we are hoping to help build up his testimony on the important things like Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon, then the wee questions won’t matter.

Things are going good! I am going to Montrose today for a couple of days because sister Crawley is in a missionary Easter choir thing so she has to go to Edinburgh to practice then is going to travel around Scotland with a few other missionaries next week so I will probably be heading down to Montrose again next week! It will be good.

Love, Sister Hulet
