Week 43 | Alloa, Scotland

Sauchie, and area we go through all the time

Scotts Baptism

Ensign article

Me and Barbara and her polish book of mormon

So there has been loads that has happened in the past two weeks.. where to begin?

Well last week we had a Scottish Night at the church. We had Haggis and there were bagpipes, and the elders wore kilts. Good times! And Mary came! Mary is the lady with all the birds that we go visit once a week to help her clean ha and she LOVED IT! It was really fun.

Scotts baptism was on Sunday and it was soo good! The bishop baptized him and his parents both talked! And oh yeah, he asked Sister Gilbert and I to sing a song and we were like stressin cuz neither one of us really are strong singers, so his mum, Islay, sang with us and she is pro! so it went good! We sang, Where Love Is, from the children’s song book. It was a brilliant day!

Oh hey guess what, I am famous again! Yup they did another article on Sister Watt in the UK pages of the ensign (every month they have a section in the normal ensign with added pages about local church news in the UK). So that was exciting! I will send some super awesome pictures of it..

It was the first full week of the new transfer and already it is going by too fast. I know I have said it before but the ward is great. We get fed a lot which is always great. We have gone to the Quinns a few times, they are vegan! So I was a bit iffy about going over there, but the food was actually really good, and they have a cute son, and vegan ice cream is tasty, and brother Quinn can rip a deck of cards in half so.. that was cool! I could only rip like 12 at a time. I am so weak.

But it was a great week! We found some solid people to hopefully start working with soon!

Love Sister Hulet
