This past week was a crazy one. Let me just start out by saying that both of my companions were sick. Sister Galbraith was like majorly sick, like she didnt sleep at all and was just coughing her lungs out all day everyday basically. It was rough. I got a LOT of study in haha. It was really weird because for the first time since i've been on my mission i was alone. They were both in the other room sleeping or on the couches sleeping and so i was just reading and watching mormon videos. I will send a nice picture so you can see what i mean with how sick they were.
The greatest thing happened last week though, but i will start from the begining and try to keep it short.
So back in May we were chapping some doors in Kirkcaldy and we came across a guy named Greg who said he was athiest but we gave him a mormon.org card and talked with him for a bit on his doorstep anyway. A week later we get a call from the mission home telling us that we have a self referral from mormon.org (they can go on there and say that they want to contact the missionaries and they put in their address and the closest missionaries to them will be contacted to go and teach them). So we got the address and his name and realised that it was the guy we talked to while chapping his door. We contacted him and tried to set up appointements but never really could. Well, after a while we lost contact. Last week, we got a text saying, hey i dont know if you remember me but i talked with you a month ago. We were so excited and he said he wanted to meet with us so we set up a joint teach with him and the Sim's at our church. We gave him a church tour and just talked about our religion and he seems really excited to learn and we are meeting with him tonight again!
Also good news, the elders in our ward are having a baptism on the 26th! It is very exciting and I cannot wait!
We finally ordered in from a chip shop! I have been begging for so long! Good stuff!
Oh! Frances (the 94 year old lady) taught us how to knit this week! She was so excited and we all struggled to learn but i think we finally got the hang of it!
We are going to St Andrews, and Falkland today with Stella! expect great pictures next week :)
Love, Sister Hulet
