Since it has only been a few days i hope next weeks letter will be better and hopefully contain some good news, visa wise! anyway, i love all of you and i will write you a real letter tonight so expect personal shout outs in there :)Where to begin with my up and down of an MTC experience?! well first of all i will explain the 20 second phone call i got to make home on Thursday, and the large amount of money missing from my bank account that the church says they will reimburse. So i got a letter in my mail saying to report to the travel office asap so sister covey and i went. Turns out that my visa had not gone through so i had to reaply and fill out all these random questions that i did not know the answer to all of. So i had to call home and ask. I ran to the building with a phone pass but i needed quarters so i ran to my room and back. i chose to call dad since he would give me quick answers but he didnt pick up so i had to run all the way back to my room and grab a $10 which i then had to exchange for like a million quarters and call mom to talk. finally i had my answers and ran back to the travel office to finish my papers. All this time i was on and off the phone with my travel agent working this out and trying to make a deadline. I finally got it working, then came to the part where i had to pay. I tried my debit card, no. i tried my paypal acount, no. So i had to try to call state bank but the phone wouldnt call so some kind fellow working in the office lent me his cell phone so i finally got through and they had flaged my purchase as fraud and it wouldnt go through. poor sister covey had to just follow me around and miss all our class that day since it took up 3 hours! so i cleared it up and finished my papers. BUT it wasnt quick enough so i have to wait until monday to go print some of them out and then HOPEFULLY wednesday i can take the shuttle up to salt lake to get more things figured out so i can HOPEFULLY go to Scotland on the 9th with the rest of my district! If not then i will either stay in the MTC longer or go stateside while i wait for my visa to process, but my agent said that she could hopefully get it all worked out by then because it was not my fault and maybe it can be here in time. pray for that. Also, our schedules are all messed up so we have a random prep hour right now to email home and do laundry! On an excellent note, i have the greatest companion and sisters in my district of all time! i will send pictures if i can and you can see how great they are! Sister Covey is my companion and she is from Alpine. We have a lot in common and get a long super well! The other two are Sister Ricks from Tooele and is awesome, she snowboards and we have a lot in common as well. Sister Mccarie is from Hawaii and is very chill. She has a nice little sarcasm she throws in some times that i love! The guys in our district are hilarious and so are our teachers. i laugh like all day long! also Covey is really clumsy so that always is cause for a good time!ALso, sorry no pictures this time. the computer is stupid at this moment and there are people waiting to use it..Love, Sister Hulet
