Week 62 | Aberdeen, Scotland

Hello!

So I don't remember if I have told you or not about this guy we are teaching called Jason. He was a pro tennis player! He is pretty cool. He coached Andy Murray when he was younger! We ran into him while chapping one night and have met with him a few times since. His schedule is a bit busy right now though since he is playing in the Scottish Cup for tennis.. no big deal!

There is another lady, Margery, who we have been meeting with for a while now, she is religious but doesn't believe in organized religion. She reminds me a bit of Mary from Alloa, except more of a belief in God. She always has a lot to say about life. She is so so smart and always teaches us something form British history when we go over to hers.

Time is moving so fast! I am doing the Doctrine and Covenants challenge, which is basically just reading one section a day backwards so it is a countdown to when I go home. I don't really like knowing the specific amount of days I have left though it is too weird! But I am learning a lot, I don't remember much from D&C and this is the first time on my mission I have been studying it so I am enjoying that.

Last week we did more City Centre finding, except we drew out the plan of salvation in chalk on a busy corner. it worked really well because as I drew it out the other missionaries would stop people and explain it to them, or walk up to people staring at it and explain. It was really fun, I got to do most of the drawing and I tried to take a picture for yous but it is kind of hard to see it all so sorry! Have a good week, hope fathers day was great!

Love, Sister hulet
