Pratt's Hill

Hiya!

So my new companion is Sister Solum. She is from Kaysville Utah and is like half my size! She is really nice and sweet and sometimes I think she is the trainer cuz she is like a dynamite missionary! She isn’t afraid of anything and just talks to people like she's a pro. I just realized I don’t have any pictures to send this week just the two of us.

So Wednesday was the longest day ever. We were up at 3 to be on the road driving to Edinburgh at 3:30. It was me and all the missionaries heading over to Ireland. We got to the mission home and then it was a long day in Edinburgh! I got to see a lot of my old friends like sister Ricks! She is going to Kirkcaldy! I am pretty jealous! She will love it there and be great! I also got to see Amanda from Alloa ward and hang out with her for a bit.

We took a wee bus to the bottom of Pratts Hill and we all hiked it. FINALLY! Since my visa problems when I first started my mission, I never got to hike it so I was sooo excited to get to go up with everyone! I took some sweet pictures as well. After that, we had lunch at the mission home and did some training with all the missionaries then got assigned our new companions. We had to wait a while at the mission home then caught a train back to Aberdeen. It was a long ride but we finally got home at like 10.

The week has been a bit crazy with goodbyes, hellos, and regular missionary life. I keep forgetting Sister Solum doesn't know everything so I have to back track and explain the WHY behind all that I do. It makes me realize why I do things everyday though, which is really nice to just step back and think about. I think I will enjoy the next 12 weeks with her! Have a great week!
